At 7 meters, this lunge line offers an excellent transition for testing the fundamentals learned with the 3m70: trust, control, connection.
With the 7m lunge line, you can refine your connection in groundwork.
The flexibility, balanced weight, and responsiveness of the Horse & Ropes rope allow the rider's requests to be transmitted accurately to the horse, even at a distance!
The 7m length is ideal for:
- distance work
- canter circle work
- long reining with a pair of 7m long lines

In a move towards sustainability, all our carabiners are attached in a removable manner.
The snap hook is most commonly used for 7m lines. With a horse trained to yield to pressure, you can use the 7m line by tying it as a neck collar + line, by removing the snap hook and keeping the ring to tie the line. Weight of the snap hook with the ring: 150g
The safety snap hook allows you to quickly release the horse's head in case of a problem. This heavy and safe snap hook is ideal for horses undergoing training. Weight of the safety snap hook: 172g
For long-lining with two 7m lines, we recommend the trigger-release or safety snap hook.
We recommend hand washing with soapy water to preserve the integrity of your rope.
You can also care for your lanyard by:
- cleaning it with a shower jet with a little pressure
- washing it in the machine for 30 minutes at 30°C and 800-900 rpm, in a net and a full machine load.
To maintain the safety carabiner, grease it regularly with lithium grease or WD40 white grease.
For the durability of the leather popper, it is recommended to grease it regularly.
