One of the risks when hiking or leading a horse is that our horse might put its front leg through the equipment and get injured. The Easy Clips were designed to limit this risk by securing your reins or lead rope to the saddle.
The design of the Easy Clips was also created with maximum comfort and safety in mind. The wide loop allows the reins to slide easily through it if you need to quickly grab them (however, with our BioThane Grip reins, they won't slide as well).
The snap button allows you to quickly release the reins in case of a problem.
Besides its safety aspect, Easy Clips is an accessory designed for outdoor riders. You'll find it has multiple uses: securing your reins or neck rope to the saddle, holding your helmet when you dismount, your map during TREC, raising stirrups... You can even use it as a saddle handle.
But the choice of this material is no accident! It is resistant to UV, water, sweat, and abrasion. The easy clips rub against the saddle pad, saddle, and reins and remain intact.
The use of BioThane allows for the creation of a wide loop that holds its shape and allows the reins or lead rope to slide freely! A leather latigo, a hay bale string, or a rope would tighten around your reins, impacting your horse's comfort, especially if it is wearing a bit

Nickel-plated steel is a quality material that will suit the vast majority of riders.
For those who live in very humid regions or who would use the easy clips for beach swimming, we recommend stainless steel, which is particularly resistant to oxidation.
Easy clips are sold individually.
Only one is needed to hold the reins or cord to the saddle.
A wipe with a damp sponge will restore BioThane to its original color.
If you rinse the easy clips with water, we recommend drying the carabiner with a dry cloth.
Occasionally apply a little lithium grease to the carabiner to ensure its longevity.
