The educational tie ring is easy to install on any solid attachment point (wall, ring, post, etc.).
The lead rope passes through the metal mechanism (magnetized rod to the ring), which offers several levels of resistance:
- Free sliding: for experienced or very sensitive horses.
- Braked sliding: for horses in training. Allows the rider to avoid using their hand to brake the sliding lead rope. Safer for the rider.
- Stable attachment: a more classic attachment for educated horses.
Thanks to this adjustable system, you can adapt the function to your horse and its comfort level.
A snap hook, screw, and user guide are provided with each ring for quick setup.
- For young horses in training
- For horses that have been scared or panicked when tied
- For riders looking for a more ethical and progressive alternative
- For anyone who wants to gain safety and serenity in their daily life
- For hikers who use a rope to tie horses
A step towards more ethical riding
A step towards more ethical horsemanship
The educational tie ring is part of a more global approach: respect for the horse, attentiveness to its reactions, and progressive learning. A small tool, but a big step towards a more balanced relationship.
Unlike a traditional tie ring where the lead rope is rigidly fixed, the educational tie ring allows the lead rope to slide slightly. The result: if the horse backs away or pulls back suddenly, it doesn't feel blocked — which greatly limits panic reactions.
This system gently guides the horse in understanding tying. It helps them to:
Remain calm in waiting situations (grooming, care, etc.),
Develop confidence when tied,
Prevent accidents related to sudden pulling (broken lead rope, injuries, horse turning around, etc.).
